Growing up the child of a Baptist minister, fitting in and following rules was easy for Krista. She learned that it was best to never rock the boat because when she did, there was a price to pay to keep everyone around her happy. When Taylor is born, life is exactly what she always wanted as a wife and mother, continuing the traditions of her family. When Taylor rebels against the rules he has previously followed, Krista hopes it is just a teenage phase. Krista Colle Gibson lives in upstate South Carolina and Wrestling With a Rebel is her first book. An English major, Krista worked in journalism and marketing for many years, but her favorite career, from 1990 to the present, is being a mom to sons Taylor and Connor. Now retired, she cares for her mother who lives with her and continues to make sense of the world with the written word.
